Features: Sleeved 229-style bell; heavy-walled red brass No. 5 leadpipe in the Bach 25H pattern; red brass tuning slide; single 1/8" bracing. Spencer's published price is GBP 1,750. Will Spencer builds and voices each instrument himself at his Bordon workshop, testing and optimising it through construction and inviting the customer in to fine-tune tuning, tone, response and comfort before completion. Spencer uses only red brass for leadpipes and slides to avoid the dezincification (red-rot) he has spent years repairing on other makers' horns. Prices are Spencer's published GBP figures converted at GBP x 1.27. Leadpipes are named by material and pattern rather than standard/reversed, so the §A leadpipe field is blank.
