Features: Yellow brass 37-style bell; extra-heavy red brass MV7 leadpipe; yellow brass semi-round tuning slide; two custom 1/8" slide braces. All Spencer Bb models use M/K leadpipes and tuning slides made in the USA. Spencer's published price is GBP 1,750. Will Spencer builds and voices each instrument himself at his Bordon workshop, testing and optimising it through construction and inviting the customer in to fine-tune tuning, tone, response and comfort before completion. Spencer uses only red brass for leadpipes and slides to avoid the dezincification (red-rot) he has spent years repairing on other makers' horns. Prices are Spencer's published GBP figures converted at GBP x 1.27. Leadpipes are named by material and pattern rather than standard/reversed, so the §A leadpipe field is blank.
